We officially launched our first official Ecodesign Ready stove on Friday!
Following the launch of the Stove Industry Alliance (SIA) Ecodesign ready stove scheme at the Houses of Parliament in February, this was the next big step for Arada!
We were joined by our local MP Neil Parish who was key-note speaker for the scheme, to officially launch our Farringdon range at our HQ last week.
Representing this new era of low emissions stoves, the official launch was a celebration of the Farringdon range as one of the cleanest burning stoves available on the UK market with particulate levels of already up to 75% below the 2022 levels.
The range will reach our retailers this summer ready for the next heating season and will be released in conjunction with accompanying educational material from our Burn Well programme aiming to advise consumers and retailers alike on the good practices of stove use to improve air quality.
Furthermore, the Farringdon range is the first of many Ecodesign stoves we will be releasing over the next few years, representing our commitment to raising awareness and lowering emissions as a leading UK stove manufacturer.
“Consumers can be sure that investing in an Arada low emissions stove will be a key investment for the future- helping to reduce pollution and continue to reduce CO levels”.
Mark Brettell - Managing Director, Arada
Arada’s Managing Director, Mark Brettell said “It is great to have Neil’s support for our industry and for initiatives such as the SIA Ecodesign ready scheme to help demonstrate to government how new cleaner burning stoves are a real contribution to cleaner air in the UK.
“Wood burning stoves have gained enormous popularity and at times, are unjustly being blamed for pollution and particulate emissions, especially in our cities.
“We have spent an enormous amount of time and money in developing our stoves to be clean burning and to ensure that their design and state of the art technology is at its very best.
“Consumers can be sure that investing in an Arada low emissions stove will be a key investment for the future- helping to reduce pollution and continue to reduce CO levels, whilst purchasing an appliance truly built in Britain.”
