In 1966, George and Rose started a small family engineering business, 50 years on it is still at the heart of today’s Arada.
Since their creation, our stoves have had the authenticity you’d expect from a company rooted in rural Devon.
Choose a stove that is perfectly designed for the British home and your way of life.
The most important consideration when purchasing a stove is the required output to heat the room it will be placed within. As a very rough guide, measure the room and multiply width x depth x height (in metres), and then divide this by 14. This will provide the average heating requirements for the room in kilowatts. e.g. For a room measuring 4.9m x 4.9m x 2.4m, multiply these together and then divide by 14. This makes a 4.1kW output.
Our freestanding stoves offer the most versatile heating solution, perfect for all spaces. Alternatively, you could opt for an inset stove model, designed to replace an open fire utilising an existing fireplace.
All of our Hamlet stoves are multi fuel, giving you the freedom to choose between burning solid fuel or wood. For those living in UK Smoke Control Areas, we also offer our DEFRA exempt stoves - Solution 5 Widescreen and Solution 5 DEFRA.
All Hamlet stoves come with a ten year guarantee, enuring long-lasting enjoyment and added peace of mind. Terms and conditions apply.View terms here.
We appreciate that everybody is different, so when choosing your stove, ensure it suits your lifestyle and home décor. With this in mind, our stoves, log stores and accessories are available in a wide selection of colours to match them to your home.
Highly efficient, yet simply designed, our Solution range of stoves allow you to generate more heat using less fuel.
With a gently curved steel body, large fire viewing glass and concealed hinges, the Solution stove is a stunning addition to any room and is sure to keep your home warm and cosy.
The smallest of the Hamlet range, the Hardy has been designed with small living areas in mind. Whilst compact in size, these stoves still offer all the heat and cosiness needed to stay warm through the winter months. A reliable and controllable heating supply combined with a simple design.
Featuring all the perks of our Solution Freestanding models, but fitting perfectly into a standard British fireplace, the Solution Inset is a great choice. The Solution Inset 5 model even fits neatly around the chair brick minimising the need for alterations.
Our Solution DEFRA stove enables you to burn wood or smokeless fuel in the UK’s Smoke Control Areas. It’s been developed to meet DEFRA’s stringent approval and combines simple, clean styling with the practical requirements of today’s stove users.
Hamlet stoves now come with a ten year guarantee.
